Resin Ashtray Pictures – Red, Pink, and Purple Valentine’s Day Ashtray

    Hello! This is the first ashtray out of five that I am making that are Valentine’s Day themed! I think doing themed ashtrays is a really cool idea because even though I am marketing these as Valentine’s Day gifts, they can be for anyone! I can also make a custom ashtray in this style if you wanted one similar to it!

    Someone recently brought up to me the idea of making themed ashtrays for holidays such as Easter, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, etc, and I think that is a really good idea. I am really excited to be doing this and I think that I can come up with a lot of unique ideas for all of these holidays and that it will give me more content! One holiday that I am especially excited about is Easter, because all of the pastel colors are really pretty!

    This is a multicolor ashtray, with pink, red, and purple pigment in it! I tried my best to not get the colors to mix, and I did not do a perfect job, but it came out really nicely! 

    I recently realized that heating up the mold too much makes the mold stick to the resin, so I did not heat up this one at all during the pouring process. I only heated the resin a little bit on top of the oven that I had turned on and torched the top of the resin after a while to get most of the bubbles. I am really proud of how this came out, and there are barely any bubbles!

    This is not for sale! I just sold it and if you would like something similar, please send me a message so we can work something out for you!

    If you would like a custom ashtray, the general pricing for just color and glitter in my medium to small molds would be $15 locally in Vegas, and $20 if I am shipping it to you. This would be $5 extra if I am using a larger mold, since it takes more resin to make. The general pricing for color, glitter, and flowers or a picture or whatever else you want me to put in it would be $20 locally in Vegas, and $25 if I am shipping it to you. If you would like me to add a magnet in the bottom or the sides, that would be $5 extra. If you wanted something that had more stuff than this, the pricing varies.
