Hello! This is going to be a pretty short post since I don’t have a whole lot to talk about. This past weekend, me and my mom were gone for Easter to visit my Nana, so we were not home to work on the ambulance. Then, the following Monday, we brought the ambulance to the mechanic and a couple of problems that we found.
Here is the mechanic update for those who care:
We had to get the A/C fixed, which ended up being a lot more than they originally thought, since there turned out to be more problems. However, I am definitely willing to do this since I really want to have A/C, especially since summer is coming and I live in Vegas. Summers in Vegas typically get to over 100*F, and I definitely don’t want to be without A/C during that time.
There was a bit of a bounce in the front driver wheel, which actually turned out to be a problem with the shocks. The bounce made the ride a lot more rouch and bouncy than it was supposed to be, so I wanted to get this fixed. Plus, it will make it safer to replace the weak shocks. They will be replacing the front shocks on both wheels, which is also good so they will wear and tear at the same rate.
They also changed the coolant, transmission fluid, and engine oil, so all of those are new and ready to go. Even though we probably did not have to do some of these things, we wanted to. Especially since we did not know when the last maintenance on the ambulance was. We also had them change the fuel filter, which is another general maintenance thing.
We also wanted them to do a general inspection, since we did not really know if there were any other big problems that we did not know about yet. They told us that pretty much everything else was good, except for the things mentioned above. They even said that our brakes were really good and should last for a good while longer.
I’m really excited to get the ambulance back, because now I will feel safer and more secure driving it knowing that there are no big problems anymore. After this, I can start taking it on trips, but I probably won’t until I have at least a bed and a toilet haha. I’m really looking forward to it, though.
We also bought wiper blades and an air filter to change ourselves, since they would be a lot more expensive if we had a shop do it. Plus, these things are pretty easy so it’s not a problem to do it ourselves anyways.
Anyhow, that’s the whole update that I have for you guys. I might not have any more updates next week, since the ambulance will be in the shop all of this weekend as well. However, I will still make a post with anything that happens between now and then.
Thank you all so much for reading and supporting my journey. I really appreciate every one of you who reads my posts, and I hope you all enjoy them! I have something really exciting being posted this Tuesday, so make sure to check back in for that! Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you guys in the next one!

Sorry about the pricey repairs… there’s always something, isn’t there. Glad it’ll be in good shape soon. I’m really curious to see how it’s going to turn out! Good luck!

Thank you! Yeah, there is always something. I feel a lot safer now that everything was fixed. We did expect repairs since it is a bit of a used vehicle anyways, so I wasn’t very upset. Thank you for commenting!
