New Year’s Promise :)

    Hello everyone! Since starting this blog, I know that I have not been the most consistent in posting. I also know that I have been very all over the place with the content that I do end up putting out. I have also been not very easy to communicate with, so I want to implement new ways for you guys to contact me and new ways that you guys can participate in my content. In the new year, I want all of this to change. I want to make a schedule that I can stick to, I’m going to make an effort to write good posts that follow a predetermined outline, and I will make sure that I have a variety of content every week.

     Schedule

    The first main thing that I would like to promise is my schedule.

     I would like to post three times a week. I know like this sounds like a whole lot, and is more than I was already scheduling for myself, but I have a better plan than I did then.

     Every Monday, I want to post pictures of an art project I have finished or am working on, and explain it a little bit before the pictures. This will help engage everyone who reads my blog posts, and it helps to better immerse everyone in imagining the things I am already describing. I have received a little bit of feedback saying that people would like to see more pictures of the things I write about. Also, this Monday, a new site page will publish where you will be able to access all of the pictures I will be posting every Monday. This will be helpful to everyone because my audience will not have to search through all of my blog posts to find pictures that they would like to see again, and I will have a place where I can see all of my art projects in one place.

     Every Wednesday, I will be posting a standalone post. This will be about something new, and not part of a series. This will introduce new content to my audience, and will keep the blog fresh and up to date for my life. These kinds of posts are going to take the most effort, since I have to come up with a new idea every week for a new blog post. Still, I am excited to have new structure to my blog and for it to be more organized than before.

     Every Friday, I am going to be posting another part of a series. This includes things such as Life Updates and blog posts that take more than one post to fully explain the point I am trying to get across, or all of the information. This will be a pretty easy thing to do, since I already have a couple series’ going at the moment, and I have ideas for more in the works.

     Overall, I hope that the blog will be more inviting, more organized, and easier to interact with in this upcoming year.

     Communicating

    I hope to encourage all of my followers, and people who have not yet followed me to shoot me a message on my Instagram page, about anything. I hope to get to know every one of you and to be able to interact with everyone who wants to interact with me. I would also like to encourage commenting more often, because all of the comments I have gotten so far are both helpful and make me feel like poeple are liking my content. I want to encourage the most interaction between me and my audience as possible because this both brings me closer to you guys and helps me form a better image of myself.

     Another idea that I had to futher communication with my audience was to make polls sometimes. I had an idea to put out a poll at the end of every week to see what kind of post you guys wanted on Wednesday, whether it be about art, a specific art project, my van, or any other topic you guys can think of. This will be a nice way for me to both communicate with you guys and cater to what my audience wants to see from me. I will put a link for a poll for next week at the bottom of this post if you guys want to participate!

    In the near future, I would also like to start hosting giveaways and raffles for art that I do and art supplies that I come across. This will help me get my name out there, and will also hopefully please you guys. I would love for my art to get out there any way possible, and this would be a great start. Of course, I cannot give away all of my art, but this is definitely something that will be coming in the future.

     The only thing I ask you guys in return is to occasionally leave a like or a comment, or even recommend my blog to relatives or friends of yours that would like the kind of content I make.
