This is the second installment in the three part blog post series of different kinds of art I want to create in the future. If you have not read the first part and would like to, here is a link:

Character building – In the past, I have had a really difficult time coming up with really unique ideas for characters in stories, and I also have a difficult time coming up with my own ideas for drawings without references. With practice and help, I want to be able to create original characters and settings off the top of my head whenever I want. I see all of these people on YouTube just creating an original character off of one word or one concept or one idea, and I really admire that creative skill. These videos are really enjoyable to me, but I have never really thought that I could also do this when I was watching them. It took a while for me to realize that I can also possess this skill. This definitely seems like a daunting task, with all of the practice and brain power that it will require to get better at, but it will definitely be worth it when I start progressing in my original character journey.
Writing – Since I was very young, I have been very interested in writing. Over the past couple of years, however, I have gotten out of the habit of writing and coming up with interesting ideas that I could write about. I still have all of these ideas in my head, I just have not found the time or motivation to start writing or kept up the determination to finish a story. Even in the past, I have had a very difficult time with finishing stories once I start writing them. This will also take a lot of perseverance and determination, but it will again be worth it once I regain my love and motivation for writing stories. On another, similar note, I realized that if I am into both writing and drawing, I could start planning and writing graphic novels. I have come up with a few ideas recently that I think would work really well as a graphic novel, I just have to get better at both drawing and writing before I start working on those.
Sewing – Never before in my life have I thought that I would ever end up with an interest in sewing. However, this has changed over the last year. I have realized that it would be amazing to sew my own clothes and be able to decorate and create things that I would not be able to buy otherwise. I have already bought a sewing machine and have created a few things with it, and I am definitely getting better at it. I love creating things this way and having the ability to do this whenever I want.
Knitting – There are several Instagram accounts that I follow that make their own tops and things out of yarn. I think that this is an amazing skill and it would be very useful in the future to have. It is a very impressive skill, and I have never really been into it because it takes a lot of patience, practice, and also following templates. Templates seem difficult to me because I have never really learned how to use them, and for both sewing and knitting, they seem very complicated. However, I know that with both practice and patience, I can work on this skill and be able to do anything I want with it. This combined with my ability to sew would be great, because I could make anything I want.
Body art – I think that both the body and art are amazing, so why not combine them? I have seen many instances of extremely impressive body art in the past, and this has inspired me to eventually get into it. I want to mainly do it on myself, for two reasons. For one, it would help me with control and how I use my hands, and two, I do not have anyone that I have asked to do body art on them yet. I would really love to create my art on someone else, especially since there is the beauty of it only being very temporary along with it being on someone’s body.
Performance art – Performance art, to me, means a lot of different things. I want to create things that tell a story, look cool, and have people in them. I would like to create live exhibits that people can come and watch and experience. I would also like to do performance like things, and then take pictures to make another experience that people can have. There is so much inspiration for this in the world and I am trying to absorb all of it all at once.
This is the end of the second section. I hope you liked learning about more of the things I want to do in the future. Thank you so much for reading my blog post and supporting my journey!

P.S. If you would like to participate in the weekly poll to decide what kind of post I make for next Wednesday, you can access it at this link: https://strawpoll.com/w7vyh1u97 Thank you so much for participating!
