Resin Ashtray Pictures – Pink, Red, and White Pot Leaf Ashtray

This is one of the five ashtrays I am making that are Valentine’s Day themed. This is the last ashtray that I made for this holiday. I really like this one even though it is simple. I also really love using this mold because it is big, looks nice, and comes out of the mold pretty easily. I also love all of the other themed ashtrays I made for this holiday, and those posts are coming later!

I made this with pink, red, and white pigmented resin, and they all bled a little bit. The pink especially bled into the white at the bottom, but I still really love how it turned out!

For this ashtray, I used a little bit of a different method to try and get all of the bubbles out. First, I heated up the mold a little bit, then I heated the resin and resin containers before pouring so most of the bubbles rose to the surface at that stage, and then I poured the resin into the mold in layers, torching it between layers so most of the bubbles that are left come out.

This is for sale! If you live in Las Vegas, it would be $18 since there is so much resin involved, and if I am shipping it to you, it would be $20. This is a really big ashtray, so I have to charge a little more for it than normal ashtrays that I make. If you have any questions or want to buy it, please send me a message on my contact page, send me an email, DM me on my Instagram account, or send me a message on my Depop!

If you would like a custom ashtray, the general pricing for just color and glitter in my medium to small molds would be $15 locally in Vegas, and $20 if I am shipping it to you. This would be $5 extra if I am using a larger mold, since it takes more resin to make. The general pricing for color, glitter, and flowers or a picture or whatever else you want me to put in it would be $20 locally in Vegas, and $25 if I am shipping it to you. If you would like me to add a magnet in the bottom or the sides, that would be $5 extra. If you wanted something that had more stuff than this, the pricing varies.

If you would like to see any of these pictures in the future, they will be uploaded to my Resin Pictures site page! It is an easy way to find pictures that I have uploaded after a while!

  1. I actually really like how the pink and white bled together it looks really pretty and of course I love the glitter! It’s also really interesting to read all that goes into making the trays, having to get the bubbles out, and all the work. Super cool 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! I really love this ashtray and I’m excited to make more like it in different colors! There is a lot of work involved in these, but I think that the outcome is worth it and I love making things for people! Thank you for commenting!
