Resin Flower Post – Orange Ink Rose

Hello! This is hopefully the second to last flower sample post! This one is a lot smaller than it looks in the first few pictures, being only about an inch wide and an inch tall. I like this mold a lot and I would love to make a custom one like this.

There is one more mold that I have yet to show off after I post this one, but that might not be for a while. I told my mom that I would make her a flower with magnets in the bottom, but I have not gotten the magnets yet. I did fill up the mold a little bit, so I cannot use the mold until I get the magnets and fill the rest of the mold.

That will be another post, but I am not sure when that will come about due to the shipping time and procrastination time of the purchase of the magnets. I will try my best to make these things as fast as possible.

This is a very small, orange resin flower that I made. I used alcohol ink to color the resin, and I really like the way it turned out. I like how the light shines into the resin, and I like how vibrant the orange is. I really like this mold and I have a few cool ideas for these kinds of flowers in the future.

Since this was one of the first flowers I made, I did not yet have the tips and tricks available to me that made it so the resin has the least amount of bubbles possible. Because of this, there are a whole lot of bubbles in the petals of this flower, and I do not like that a whole lot. However, I now know how to mostly prevent this, so this will not happen in the future.

This is for sale! Since it is so tiny and has some imperfections, it will only be $3 to Las Vegas locals, but it will be $4.25 extra if I have to ship it to you, unfortunately. If you would like a custom flower from this mold or another flower mold that I have, we can talk about pricing, so send me an email or a message or leave a comment down below!

If you would like to see any of these pictures in the future, they will be uploaded to my Resin Pictures site page! It is an easy way to find pictures that I have uploaded after a while!

Thank you so much for reading my blog post and supporting my journey! I really appreciate it, and hope that I can continue to keep you entertained throughout my blogging journey! I hope that I can continue to post content of a variety, and do not be shy to leave a comment and let me know what you think about the kinds of posts I have been making recently!

P.S. If you or anyone you know has just gotten into resin or would like to get into resin, make sure to check out this blog post: https://baileymchatton.com/2021/01/31/tips-i-learned-while-using-resin/ This is a collection of all of the tips I have learned since I have started using resin. I am constantly updating this with all the new tips I learn as well!

P.P.S. If you would like a custom ashtray, the general pricing for just color and glitter in my medium to small molds would be $15 locally in Vegas, and $20 if I am shipping it to you. This would be $5 extra if I am using a larger mold, since it takes more resin to make. The general pricing for color, glitter, and flowers or a picture or whatever else you want me to put in it would be $20 locally in Vegas, and $25 if I am shipping it to you. If you would like me to add a magnet in the bottom or the sides, that would be $5 extra. If you wanted something that had more stuff than this, the pricing varies.

  1. Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to make a great article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and don’t manage to get anything done.
