Resin Ashtray Pictures – Red/White Pansy Square Ashtray

Hello! I am happy to share this post with you guys, as I made this ashtray back in December and I just recently got around to taking pictures of it. I made a lot of ashtrays for Christmas presents for a lot of my friends and family members, and this is one of them.

I think that these kinds of ashtrays are a great gift for anyone, because they can be used as a regular ashtray, a place to store tiny things, or just a decoration. I think that a lot of the really nice resin ashtrays I have seen people make could make great decorations because they are so creative and artistic.

There are so many things that can be done with resin, and ashtrays just so happen to be one of them! If you have any ideas or suggestions for ashtrays for me to make in the future, please leave them in the comments below because I love hearing from you guys and I love thinking about new kinds of ideas!

This is a two layered red ashtray with glitter inside of it. I also put a pansy inside of it that I had dried a while before. A lot of the pansies I dried did not make it through everything I put them through, because I was not very careful with them. This was the only pansy that survived, and I love how this ashtray turned out.

I gave this ashtray to my gramma even though she does not smoke. She puts sewing needles in it, which makes it as useful as ever. I also found out that her favorite flower is a pansy after I gave it to her. This was a very nice coincidence, because I just thought the flower was nice and that she would like it.

I would really love to make more resin things with unusual kinds of flowers like this one. If you would like a custom ashtray, please leave a comment, send me a message, or send me an email. I love how this turned out and I think that future ashtrays that I make like this can look a lot better than this one. I also think that I can preserve these kinds of flowers much better in the future now that I know how to preserve them.

I am definitely going to be making more ashtrays in the future as gifts because they are so versatile. I can’t wait to see how creative I can get with these, and since they do not have to be used only for smoking, I’m not limited to giving a person one ashtray for the rest of their lives!

If you would like a custom ashtray, the general pricing for just color and glitter in my medium to small molds would be $12 locally in Vegas, and $4.25 extra if I am shipping it to you. This would be $3 extra if I am using a larger mold, since it takes more resin to make. The general pricing for color, glitter, and flowers or a picture or whatever else you want me to put in it would be $15 locally in Vegas, and $4.25 extra if I am shipping it to you. If you would like me to add a magnet in the bottom or the sides, that would be $5 extra. If you wanted something that had more stuff than this, the pricing varies.

I am still posting every day on this blog, so I would really appreciate it if you wanted to share any of my posts or follow my blog! I appreciate every single one of you and I hope to see you in the next post!

  1. Ah, my favorite ashtray! I really like that one. Such a brilliant color! And the pansy turned out great. My second favorite flower is a ranunculus…
I really like that you keep trying new things. It’s very exciting!
